40 North is not just a film festival (although it does feature a collection of short films). It is the collective energy of a community generating a heartbeat that throbs with inspiration and empowerment. This heartbeat is kept alive by a galvanized fellowship standing on the pillars of adventure, collaboration and love — and brought together through film.
40 North is a one-night affair of short films that happens three times per year. Think trimester. In this way, we keep our films fresh, relevant, new and hip. We strive to create an alliance between kindred spirits and an authentic venue to share what it is that matters to us most.
And this is seems like the best thing since 35mm. I want to learn how/when to submit my short film; how to connect and promote via social networks; or simply want more information.
40 North Collective has already started accepting submissions for its premiere festival (est. Sept 2013). We accept all short films submissions. Thrill us, scare us, inspire us, entertain us. Give us something that really drops our jaws.

I am a member of the Boulder community. I want to get more information on this incredible event; sponsor the debut event; or get involved with working on the project.
Why? Because 40 North seems like the best new film festival in Boulder. It aggregates a community that loves to get together and celebrate the nuances of life via film. And, frankly, I’m psyched.
